Amount of lumiere to paint a fabric tail?

So, I'm not actually starting from scratch but I wanted to add some fins and a bit of paint to one of my suntail fabric tails and I'm just trying to get an idea of how much paint to order. I want 3 colours and will use more of one of them than the other two but I just don't know what size bottles to order. Usually how much would it take to do a whole tail from scratch? That may give me an idea.

I have no idea. I am a little worried about that too. It probably depends on the fabric, and definitely on the size. But they do sell bigger bottles, at least online, for a lot cheaper than buying multiples of the small ones. I would think 3 pints of paint would be enough. LOL

You can check out my tail making thread I used a mix of lumiere and tulip paints.
I used a bottle and a half for purple and blue. I suggest you just get two bottles and then keep the remaining half for touch-ups.
