Hey guys, I wanted to share this because I didn't see it on the page of tutorials and this one is quite detailed. It has plenty of pictures, an itemized list with quantities of materials, and lots of good advice. This is what I was planning to use to do my own tail. The mats this one calls for can still cost 1k or more, but it's still cheaper than getting one made and if you're like me it's part of the fun to do it yourself. I also have a PDF version. If you're interested in that message me, otherwise to get it through the website you have to pay. :/

Oh yeah! This is rogue siren's tutorial! It's been posted before, but a while ago.

My big questions is about adding pigments to silicone. This tutorial says to add it to Part B. I read somewhere else to add it to Part A? So I am confused....

Hi Shimmy. I add pigments to part B out of habit. However, in the past, I have reversed it, mixed both parts together, thinned it down, and then added even more pigment and it was fine. It just has to be thoroughly mixed together to cure. It makes it easier to keep track and insures a better mix if you add the pigment to one part, mix thoroughly and add the other part. I like to take that and change mixing containers to make sure nothing is left unblended that's going on the tail. Good luck!

Thanks so much! I want to attempt making a silicone tail this year or next, so I am trying to gather all my info :)
