Merman top?? HELP

So to start off I am not muscle tone at all anywhere besides my arms. It's not that I am fat (I actually lost a lot of weight to be able to do this) but I want something to cover my abdomen. I know about weight belts and will be getting one of those and modifying it with nets and seashells and maybe a sash of sequence. Does anyone know anything like that or have done anything like it? Anodized aluminum chainmaille armor? Or not aluminum, if you need added weight. You could do a muscle tank, kinda like a maille shirt. Use rings large enough to see through, but not too much. Or scale maille. With pauldrons, to complete the armored look.
