A dream coming true for an older(ish) Mermaid!

Hello merfolk! Becoming a mermaid has been a lifelong dream of mine! Literally one of my earliest memories involve wishing on a star to transform into a mermaid. I somehow get the feeling I am not alone in this! Lol! I am JUST starting out on this new adventure and I don't believe I have ever been so excited for anything in my entire life. I don't own a tail yet or even a monofin, but I am taking this very seriously and it's all in the works! I have been watching Raina Mermaids youtube vlogs which is how I discovered this incredible community and researching as much as I can! I have been lurking just a tad in the forums and I am so ready to get started and become an active part of the community and meet some incredible people! Who knew there was so many like-minded people like myself? I am ready to let my inner mermaid shine! Thanks for reading if you've gotten this far and its nice to meet you!

Welcome to the community, I am 24 going to be 25 shortly and in the same situation just starting out no Mono fin yet. Have my tail 99% paid for just added on some last minute fins. I also love Raina's vlog series and am egarly awaiting the next one. Have you read any of her books yet? I loved the second one with all of her story's. what part of the world are you from?

Heya and welcome! I'm 40 years old, working in my first fabric tail, just finished my top for it last night, Own 2 monofins, one of which arrived just a couple of days ago, and...at the beginning, just like you! My girls, like me, want to be mermaids. I finished their fabric tails, but am tjinkibg of putting in a zipper for safety down by their ankles so they can get to their monofins in a hurry. I dont have a tail or mono yet either! But my 23rd birthday is the 26th of this month and my mom asked about 10 minutes ago if i wanted one for my birthday!! Im so excited! !!!!
