Making my first Tail!

Hi!

I have been a mermaid for just over a year and have always swam in a Latex tail which is on it's last legs so I think it's time to make my own Silicone tail!!

I have decided to use the pearliemae method because IMO her tails are so gorgeous! I just love them!

I have been playing around with sculpting scales and I'm going to get some plaster and make a mold and see how they turn out.

Times like these I wish my dad was living in America with me!

I was wondering if anyone knows the best monofin for me? I have TINY feet and I was looking at Mahina monofins in the kids sizes but was told they are very thick.
has anyone used one before in a silicone tail? Any advice?

Awesome! there are many monofins in small sizes. the wave, foil, and trainer(?) come in smaller sizes and i THINK people have used mahinas in tails before. good luck!
