Hi, I'm Kiki, creator of the Purrmaids!

Hello everyone!


I'm Kiki, a Children's Book Illustrator. And I've always been fascinated by the world of mermaids.

It wasn't until my own kitty, Gandalf the Pink, dawned a mermaid tail, when I realized there aren't enough mermaid cat things in this world. So I set out on creating some.

After two or so years, I created the Purrmaids. Ever since then, it's been a wonderful journey meeting other mermaids, and mermaid enthusiasts!

Since the reception of my Purrmaids have full of love and wonder, I thought I'd join this community, and share my work, talk about ideas, and maybe even take part in events!

And thank you everyone for the welcome! I am excited to follow some mermaid antics of all the members! I am positive if mermaid tails existed when I was a kid, I would have spent every day swimming with them in my mom's pool. As it is, I just live vicariously through other people and my art.
