Hello Merfolk!

My mermaid blog is gaining some speed and I want to start doing a monthly newsletter. What topics would you enjoy reading about?

New mermaid products?
Discount codes?
Mermaid Events?

Let me know what you would enjoy reading about!

Beyond Mermania, I think mermaid events would be a hard one to cover in a newsletter. People loves discounts more than new products from all my experience but I could be wrong. To me, it's the discounts that grabs my attention.

Discount codes, tailmakers, tail features, maybe a pod specific page or so with events and stuff?

Definitely stuff along the lines of:
News from different tailmakers [new tail styles, innovations, etc.]
Tail Innovations and Experiments [like the new-not-new monofinless tails, for example]
Discount codes for tailmakers and monofin distributors [maybe also for anything else that may help mermaids out, like the Sinus Saver]
Big mer events [like MerMania] and Pod-specific events [I like Robynn's idea!]
New Mer products
Mermaid Interviews [pros and amateurs, just to see both sides of the spectrum!]

I ran an online magazine "Tail Flip' for years with a few other mers but in the end people just got really entitled and we got burnt out. It was fun while it lasted but really took so much work.

I also tried doing a "mermaid monday" video series twice a month where I recapped stuff in the community and the industry at large, but also found it too much to keep up with! I even had a themesong made, lol

What do you mean by entitled? a whole magazine would be a ton of work! Was it to much to keep up with because to much was happening in the world of Mermaids?
