Any military or military spouse mers?

I'm getting married next week my hubby to be is in the Navy and I was wondering if any mers are /have been in a similar situation and how it affected your mermaiding are you allowed to use your tail in pools near housing? Or did you have to find a new place every time you moved?

And what do you play it did color guard with the band in high school but I'd never servive the military and definitely admire people who can but if I get yelled at it normally cry lol I wouldn't last a day and I know it
