Finis Wave Monofin, barely used. I paid $40 for it a year and a half ago, but it's been mostly sitting in a closet in its original packaging- it even still has the little plastic inserts to keep the foot pockets in shape. I've used it twice, in a swimming pool, which was enough to show that this is not the monofin for me. They're selling for about $53 now.
I just need someone to take the thing off my hands. I don't have room for it, or the time to take it to a second hand place and I don't want to deal with strangers on Craigslist... at least strangers on Mernetwork are a smaller group of people. :p I wish I knew some deserving mer who needs one and can't afford it, but I don't know anyone.
So if you can come pick it up, you can have it. We can arrange a place to do a quick hand-off on the main street a couple blocks from where I live, or if you don't want to park (because there is very little parking here), you can pull up to my address and I can bring it out.
PM me if you are interested and I can give you our location. First come, first gets.
Deepblue. I know you said San Diego only and I know this is a slim chance (I know, I used my name as a pun) but would you be open to sending. Rebela is currently working on her tail and she lives in the same town as me. I know at one point she was considering making her own monofin to save cost. Could I offer you a 12 Month Xbox live card (I can even give you the code to use via message. I only paid $15 for it at hhgregg before that business went out) and a $15 itune card for it and have you send it to her? I'm tight on cash which is why I'm offer those two cards to cover shipping. I pretty much stop gaming since I enter mermaiding which is why I have those cards laying around.

Hi Slim,
You're the only person to respond about this so far and I was actually thinking of Rebela when I first pondered who might need one. Mostly, the problem is what to send it in. I don't have the original box, it was used for art projects. Making a box probably would not afford a lot of protection.
So if I can figure that out, you don't have to give me anything in exchange. I had years of living in flat-out poverty, and a lot of people helped me when I needed it. I like to pay it forward. So I'll ask admin to close this thread, and I will figure out how to get it to her.
PMing her now.
If you trying to take the easiest way to find a box, go to Best Buy or Walmart if they have an empty 32" or more TV box they don't need so you can use that for shipping. It's easier for them to give those boxes away vs emptying the styrofoam and garbage just to flatten the box into the compactor. Hopefully that helps and that is very nice of you.

Ok, Rebela can't use this particular fin, but someone else just asked for it so it's taken. :)
