Welp, welcome to my failure that is this post. I have no clue what to say but I'm a complete newbie. You have been warned.
I have been really into mermaids/merrow since I was a child as I lived in the biggest fishing village in Northern Ireland. I didn't even have one ounce of a clue that people even dared to call themselves mermaids & mermen, never mind have a full blown community surrounding the idea.
Ever since I was a child I was drawn to the ocean, I would pretend to swim like a mermaid, dressed like one, spent all my spare time around water and even collected seashells to create little items to sell. It didn't help that my father was a fisherman either. If I had of known that such a beautiful thing really existed in the world I would of jumped into it as soon as possible!
I feel like it's a little too late now, but maybe not. So yeah, have the ramblings of a lonely Irish girl and her jellyfish plush.
