My name is Sabina and I'd love to swim with other mermaids around Oregon! I recently got my beautiful basic silicone tail in the mail from the mertailor and have swam in it once so far in dexter lake. I definitely need more practice haha Feel free to check out my Instagram sabinamermaid! Anyway, let me know if you are in the area and I'd love to swim together and we can take photos of each other too <3

Hi Sabina and welcome! I'm new here as well. I'd like to ask you about your tail and how it was to work with mertailor sometime.

Nice to meet you! Communication with the mertailor was smooth and went well besides times when they were super busy. It was a bit difficult to communicate about specific requests for the tail when it was small details. They were phasing out basic tails when I ordered so I know they would have preferred I ordered a spellbound tail (their new line). Overall they were very kind and my tail turned out amazing!

That's great to hear. I'll have to keep them in mind when I'm finally ready to get a silicone tail. How are the foot pockets? I read other reviews where the foot pockets caused pain, but I think those were an older style.

The foot pockets are perfect although difficult to get into! The hardest part is getting the ankle straps on, I still haven't managed to get them on tightened enough but I guess it just takes practice
