Sequin & Silicone Hybrid?

As anyone made a sequin tail with a silicone fluke? I can't choose between making a sequin tail or a silicone tail. How would you attach the sequin body to the silicone fluke? Any ideas?

Heavy duty velcro, that way you have places for drainage and can remove the fluke so it can air out properly...and will also be able to dtand the body up on a rack without the fluke to open it enough for the body and sequins to dry too. i have thought about how i want to do my next tail alot and have thought a out doing a sequin and silicone hybrid.
