This was my last swim of the summer in August at Newfound Lake, Bristol, NH. This is my happy place where my mind wanders to when I need a breather.
Last night, Friday night, at the pool, a swim team came and took over the place for an unscheduled practice just as my hubby arrived. Friday night is for nice, quiet romantic mermaid/merman swimming. 20 teens splashing shouting speeding laps is not conducive to quiet date night swim time, so we left. Made me sad because Mark does not have time to do this with me very often. He took me out for dinner instead, and that was nice.
