I've seen this really pretty tail carrier around, but 1. I cant afford it and 2. i love making things by hand! Would anyone have an idea on a pattern for a bag like this?

To make my tail bag, I just folded my tail up, then traced around the fluke shape. I put the zipper across a long side, added backpack straps so I can carry the tail broad side of the fluke facing up, and a pocket on the front for stuff. So far it's worked pretty well.
