So here's the story. I'm 20 years old, mermaid obsessed, and I wanted to teach my 14 year old sister about business.
She and I have had an intense love for mermaids, and we've started working on Mer-Jewelry. We're by no means professional jewelry makers, but we're having fun and doing what we love.
Before I launch our self-created website, Anyfin You Want (https://kaileypetty.wixsite.com/anyfinyouwant), I want to gather some opinions from the Mercommunity on our pieces and what/if we should do anything differently.

Here are a few pieces we've made:
424394244042441
424424244342444

Most of the necklaces pictured are swimmable, the silver shelled ones being for dry gigs only.
Anyway, I'd love your thoughts on if we should even consider selling them, if we should try different designs, what you guys would do differently, etc...
Thoughts on the website which I've linked above would be more than welcome too!
Best wishes and Mermaid Kisses,
Kailey.

Looks good!

Suggestions:

Think about us mermen.
Consider jewelry with some wight to it, so it can double as ballast.
Mers do have access to "human" jewelry via ship wrecks, and we do like shiny things.

I love these! My personal favorite jewelry pieces are ones that look like they were strung together with items found at the bottom of the ocean! Like pearls, seaweed, small stones, ect. That's what I would like to see.

I'm definitely going to start working with a friend of mine on men's merjewelry, with things like weighted belts and arm bracers in the future.

I'll keep that in mind! I'm thinking about buying some seaweed like "stuff" from a craft store when I get the chance.
