I've been looking to create websites as a living, and I'd love to do a couple free to get a bit more practice in before I start charging for it. Both web design and mermaids are my passion, and I'd love to combine the two so I have something fun to work with while I'm designing. :)

EDIT: Here's an example of a portfolio website I made today with other websites I've created on it.

I'll probably start off by doing 3 free websites within the new 2-3 weeks. This will be for the first 3 people who contact me *and* have the content listed below.

Rules are as follows:
I need content to make a website:
This means I need lots and lots of photos to work with (think professionally done photo shoots).
I can use small clips of videos, and I love doing so. I can also edit some video, so if you have multiple pieces laced together, I can do that.
What's your story? I'm making this for/about you, and I'd love to be able to put pieces of your story in.
Any favorite quotes?
My preferred method of transferring photos is to have them all organized in Google Drive folders. It makes it accessible and very easy for me to get to.

Be polite as I work with you.
I'm doing this for fun and practice, and I'd prefer someone who is laid-back and easy to work with.

Be patient.
I have an illness, and it takes a lot of energy out of me. There are some days I will work on the site from the time I wake up till the time I sleep. Other days, I can't work up the energy to touch it.

Specify if you would like a personal page or a business page.
If you have a business, I need a bit more information like products, product photos, prices, and rates.

Other things you should know:
I solely operate using Wix. I don't do HTML coding yet.

I sound really harsh with text, but I'm not mean. XD
I love making websites, and I can't wait to work with you guys! :D

Crap. I just made one with squarespace, but is it not so great cause I don't know what I am doing. I kinda had to slop it together fast for an event.

I would have much rather hired you to take your time and make it really beautiful. I don't have time to work on it now. :( Could you look at it and give me some tips?

If it's before your event still, I can do a quick one for you and have you connect your domain to it. I'm not really good at advice, because I kind of just... do it? Haha.

The biggest thing for me to keep in mind when I make a website is point of view. Everything you create should catch attention in the order you want it to. Big gaps or bad quality photos are the best way to look unprofessional. Clear quality photos and a page that uses it's space wisely are the best things.

For your page, I'd take the gap at the top away and maybe underline the header? I like most of the pictures you used, and I enjoy the hover effect. I'd also make sure that each time you have a photo with bullet points on it, the bottom and top of the photos line up.
