Ok I don't have pictures yet but I have an idea to get that can make close to realistic vision when making my mermaid tail scales.
I thought of an idea using iridescent sheets clear sheets of colors that complements the colors that I'm using for the base tail colors.
I'm going to paint on the neoprene and will use clear silicone to go over it. But before I can i trace out my scale design in the sheets and glue them on the tail with silicone sealant. Or make scale molds, then in the mold apply a thin layer of silicone in the mold and add the translucent irredesent sheet while its sticky and wait until it cures. Then fill in the rest of the mold to make an irredesent scale that is translucent to see the colors on the neoprene.
Once I'm settled financially, I will test this experiment and show you guys how it looks and I'm wondering if anyone else is interested in trying this?
