I'm from northern NJ, but was raised between NJ and NYC because most of my parents' families live there. Also, I'm currently attending university in NY State and I'm desperate for some quality mer-time! I've never been able to go to a meetup with either of the pods that I'm in (Chesapeake/New England).

Even though I'm not there, are you in upstate NY? I can watch Facebook groups to see if there any pending meetup. I know there is at least one mer near the tri-state region of NY near my hometown in VT.
