On Facebook within the mer community, there is a lot of post about Taco Bells and Taco. It's at a meme level within the mer Facebook community.

This is why I'm so curious. There nothing within freshwater and ocean water for any similar food . That why I feel I missed something.

I don't know, but tacos are delicious. Although I'm ambivalent to some pita bread with chicken or lamb with some cheese as well.

I do not have a clue, but the same thing happened to me on a fandom app. We all got taco obsessed and started making memes. We all even started putting tacos in our profile pictures.

Is not Taco also the Japanese word for Octopus (or squid/calamari) At least on the menus around here (SF bay area.)
