Mermaid Persephone

Hi y'all.
I recently went to a local dive shop for the first time since I moved (I had a dive shop out in North Carolina where I rented gear, etc), and they said they love mermaids and would like me to work with them-- wear a tail at dry events where they have a table, do photo ops occasionally. Have any other mers done this?
I'm pretty excited to work with them, because they do a lot. They work with Dive Warriors, which helps out my fellow vets, and participate in local cleanups.
Also, I have missed diving.
Also, I do not know how to edit the title, but it should be "mascot." I'm recovering from a stomach bug and the brain is not working.
