Hi all, new here. I love everything related to mermaids. Always have. That and the beach. I am completely beach obsessed. Just wondering where everyone is located...do you have access to the beach or do you stick with local pools, etc?

Welcome to the MerNetwork. I usually go to the local pool here and do monthly trips to the spring. The springs water always stays at 72 degrees year round

The weather in my state is far too temperamental for consistent locations, so I typically just go to a meet once or twice a year if I can find a way to get there.

I haven’t been to the beach in 4 or 5 years even though I used to live in the Jersey Shore—one day, I’ll make it back.

There’s a neighborhood pool that I go to practically every day during the summer, but it’s much harder for me to find a place to swim during these winter months. Sometimes I just splash around in the creek behind my house.
