Hi there, I'm The Painted Merman
I'm a professional sword swallower who's interest in mer culture comes from the old tales and exhibitions of the Fiji Mermaid:

In researching the Fiji Mermaid I came across the knock-off fabric tails (don't worry I didn't buy one) that led me down the rabbit hole to becoming overwhelmed but delighted buy the community and the concept of merfolk.
So after getting in contact with a long time friend who happens to be the only mermaid I know, she has helped me get to grips and introduced me to some of the facets of mer culture.
I look forward to the long swim a head and hope to give as much to the community as I can.
