What's the best way to secure rhinestones to a fabric tail?

What is the best way to secure rhinestones to a fabric tail? And what kind of rhinestones should I buy? Thanks in advance!

If you can, sew them. Some rhinestones have 2 little holes to sew them on to your fabric ;) Other way is hotfix-rhinestones ;)

I'm pretty sure the glue of choice is E6000. It's waterproof and flexible. Just be sure you use really good ventilation, because too many fumes can really mess you up!
