Over thinking parents..

I was planning on paying for my finnis rappid mono fin and my parents start pushing me down about me buying it saying. " we have no pool so there is no use buying it." , " I don't want you swim in in the ocean and get carried out ( first of all I never swim in the ocean and I told them I would never do )" , " I'm sure the base pool would not let you use it in the pool"



I don't know what to say to them and it's almost forcing me to change myself and give up on the mermaid thing . I don't want that to happen. Is there anyone in the Panama City area that knows a pool that would allow swim fin?

I will say this: most military installation pools will not allow monofins from my experience. However, there may be other places.

I will say this: most military installation pools will not allow monofins from my experience. However, there may be other places.There's a place around here called Frank Brown Park that had a mermaid camp a couple years ago so I'm sure they will still allow a monofin .
