Hey! I'm in the midwest too! I want to join a pod so I don't feel so alone in this. I'm new to the mermaid community, and I don't have any mermaid friends. :( I haven't gotten the hang of this online presence thing yet. I hope you (or someone) can get back to me... It would be nice to hear from someone else in the mermaid-ing community.
