So, I have an old Mertailor silicone tail with a neoprene backing that I bought thirdhand from another mer. It's a pretty gold and I'm a goldfish, so I was pretty stoked to get it for only $400. Problem is, the design is a little outdated and the silicone is worn away or peeling in some spots. I want to give it a makeover. What I want to do is touch up the orange parts and add some pearlescent white to the middle and the fluke, but I don't really know how to color the scales. The Smooth On site suggests using Silc Pig, but it looks like it only comes in very basic colors and I don't really know how to make them metallic/sparkly/pearly. Any veteran tailmakers got some advice for me on that?
