Aspiring Mer in the mountains

Hi everyone, my name’s Rachel, and I currently live up in the Rocky Mountains, though hopefully I’ll be moving back to the east coast soon!

I grew up on a sailboat with my family, so I’ve pretty much always had a fascination with the ocean and mermaids, and I’m hoping to work my way towards working as a professional mermaid. Currently, I’m getting my degree in theatre and work as a historical costumer (I really love sewing).

I’m super excited to join this forum and can’t wait to get more involved in the community!

My dad was in the navy for 31 years, so we moved around a lot and eventually chose to buy a sailboat instead of living on base housing lol. We spent a lot of time in the Bahamas and the Caribbean in general, did a lot of homeschooling. He started teaching rotc after he retired and this is just the latest place we’ve ended up (obviously we didn’t bring the boat lol)
