Mahina vs Hydra- which is better?

Hiya, I'm working on gathering materials for my first hybrid neoprene/silicone tail and I was wondering if it would be better to get the hydra or mahina fin. I plan on mostly using my tail in a pool but intend to do some river and ocean swimming when possible. I'm already a strong swimmer but I want something to go faster and be good with tricks. I have designed my fluke in a sort of diamond shape but I may switch to a more flowy mermaid shape, it just depends on my monofin. This will be my first monofin purchase so I want to invest in something durable, long lasting, and compatible with my furture tails.

both are good fins.
The Mahina is faster, the Hydra is more comfortable.
Durable, my money is on the Mahina.
I love my Hydra, but it has straps which can get loose and are a pain to fiddle with once that happens.
