I'm brand new to mermaiding and I was hoping to find a group around where I live that can give me pointers.

I live in Clearwater, Florida, so I'm hoping there's at least something nearby. I live close to the ocean, and I've been in love with mermaids for a very long time. I went to Copenhagen to see the very first Little Mermaid, I know almost every mermaid myth and legend the Western World has to offer, though I've dabbled in Eastern Dragon lore.

And I guess that's about all that's relevant. Like I said, brand new to this world so help me! :D

Join your local pod (there is a list in these forums) and await events you can go to.
Also, go swimming.
