Hello Mer-people!
This is my question about my future tail:
I like the tail of magictail.de (the blue one)
2249 Becouse they have a beautiful scale pattern :
http://magictail.de/images/stories/katalog/Meerjungfrauenschwanzflosse-marina-detail.jpg

But I don't like their mono fin : it's too small and the heels are too visible :
http://magictail.de/index.php?option=com_joomgallery&func=watermark&catid=68&id=428&Itemid=28&wjname=Merdiva+Stephanie%3AMeine+Tochter-Gonzalez

I like so much also the Oceanika's mono fin… I wrote an e-mail to magictail.de if was possible to put inside an Oceanika; but they told me they sell them with their monofin.
Ok…
But,if I'll buy this tail;for you;I can put the Oceanika inside? Never mind if the fluke of the mono fin comes out from the edges,I'll think of something to do…I don't know...

I have another option: I can hide the heels with fringe or small fins…But the fin still small...

so…Help me please  What can I do?

Sorry for my english :$

Hmmm, that's a tough one! I think it would work but it might stretch out the fluke a little to much.... If you are worried about the oceanika fin sticking out you can try to find a matching, or contrasting, solid color nylon-spandex fabric to cover it. The good thing is that the bottom is open, that makes putting in the fin a lot easier! If the fluke stretchs to the point of tear, you could take the fabric left over from the fin and sew it to the sides thus making it wider.

I hope you can understand what I'm getting at!

I find an on.line shop where to buy fabric…
Maybe it's better to make one by myself? (I say this just to save money: with the Mertailo's tail I spent all my savings and I can't swim in it)

I really love the blue-turquose color… Any suggestion?
Look here if do you like these fabrics ^_^ (and if it's ok for make a tail)

The purple furry stuff will drag you down in the water, but the other stuff is really pretty.
I made my tail with an oceanika merfin, and I love the way it moves in the water.
Here's a video of it....

And here's a picture of my tail in the water...

Nim, have you looked into having Thom Shouse look at your tail? Is there anyway that he might be able to fix it?

@Mermaid Dottie, thank you,you are so sweet and your tail it's really beautiful! If I needed may you teach me? Question for you: what size shoe do you wear? Because Oceanika wrote to me they have mono fin for small feet here the mail:

As all shoe manufacturers sizes vary, the most accurate measurement to go by for fins is the foot pocket length. You should measure the foot from heel to toe and then compare this with the fin that has a foot pocket length that is the closest to this measurement, allowing for a little extra room for the toes at the front.

However, I see you have already measured and our largest MerFin is a size 5-7.. and the foot pocket length is 24.2com.. So technically it looks like it is too small. However, many women who are a size 8 shoe, have bought the larger MerFin and squeezed into it. Their foot has been a size bigger than the large MerFin, but the have not minded their foot being a tight fit. It is up to the individual person as to whether they want to risk it or attempt it, knowing it is going to be firmly fitted..

Hope this email gives you some clarity you need to decide on your order...

Best Fishes,

The Mer Of Oceanika

My fin is a little tight, I bought the largest size they had. I actually cheated some. where the holes are in the foot pocket I cut them a little larger and then burned a little around the edge and rubbed with a towel. doesn't hurt as much, but also, breaking them in helps to.

Dottie, thanks 2324

I'm really hesitant…I'm worry to make a mistake again…
So….I have options:

☆。°º 1To buy fabric and make with myself a tail like Miss Dottie or like Miss Aela. But I don't know where to find and to buy the right fabric (of course how to make, but I'm carefully reading the opposite thread also if for me it's a little bit difficult for the language) 2325
And add an Oceanika merfin.

☆。°º 2Take a "magictail" and to swallow someway an Oceanika. http://dl2.glitter-graphics.net/pub/564/564072iyknk3plx4.gif

☆。°º 3 Change idea and take one tail from "mermaid parties" … (to trust?) 2327

☆。°º 4 Resign myself 2326
