I posted this in the conventions forum, but for a single day, most likely it will be people from Arizona or anyone close enough to drive to.
We've just finalized our facility and are nailing down the date now. It will be one of the first three Saturdays in March. We're throwing a one-day mermaid festival in Phoenix Arizona at a local aquatic center. We'll have sessions throughout the day for how to get started and run a mermaid business, as well as a second room that will be doing sessions on making, repairing, buying anything and everything mermaid.
There will be an underwater photographer for some shoots through the day. In the evening we'll cap it off with a massive mermaid swim and a special contest.
This is our first year, so we're keeping it to one day to make it manageable and fun for everyone. More specifics should be out in the next few weeks.
