ISO used mermaid tail

I am looking for a used mermaid tail. I am a "gothier" mermaid but I still enjoy bright colored tails too. The tail can be anywhere from fabric to silicone but I am on a tight budget. Hopefully someone has something for me!!

What's your budget? You can get a nice-looking new fabric tail for a pretty low price. If you can spend a bit more than the base price some companies even let you get your own design.

Well, it's hard to give suggestions without a number range. There's a pretty big difference in the pricing for a fabric tail and the pricing for a silicone tail.

FinFun is often recommended for beginners and for a decent tail, prices don't get much lower than what FinFun offers. I own one myself. If this is your first tail, you should go for a fabric one. If there's not a sale, the adult tail skins start at $45 and and the adult monofin starts at $45. However, they have sales pretty frequently so keep an eye out for that, particularly around holidays. They have a lot of color options and release a new one every month, and there's custom tail template where you can upload your own design and have it made as a tail. Even if you go with the most expensive tail skin and monofin combo, that's $165. Just be wary if you go for a lighter colored tail since they can be a bit see through.

Magictails, as Ransom recommended, makes fabric tails. They're more expensive than FinFun and they have fewer color options, but they offer a couple different types of monofin. Like FinFun, they also offer custom options. I've never used or even seen one myself so I can't speak for how the quality compares to FinFun.

Most of their neoprene tails run around $300, but sometimes they have misprint sales where you can get them at a decent discount. They have these super cool tails where the fins are silicone and the bodies are neoprene covered in iridescent resin scales, they look amazing, ESPECIALLY underwater. They're about a thousand bucks. Their full silicone tails are custom and have a base price of $3,900.

There's a woman on YouTube, NerdmaidFaith, who reviews tails from lots of different companies. If you can't find a suitable used tail in your price range and have to go for a new one (or shoot, even if you do find a used tail and want to know if it's right for you) her videos can help find what tail is best for you.
