and my eyes beheld a wondrous sight!

I'm playing with substances I probably ought not to play with:)
2266
It dries clear
2267
peels away from duct tape and metal
2268
held a beautiful scale pattern
2269
and sticks to glass like a window cling, but better.

I also tried it on fabric, and i'll post those pictures soon. :)

Just wanted to know what you guys thought of my dabbling...

That's pretty cool, and relevant to my interests! What is it?

It's silicone and vinegar.
I cut up a bath scrubbie for the scale pattern, so it's reallly little.

Here's the material I did also. It's just swimsuit fabric, same loofah netting, and once it was dried and cured I could stretch the material and it stayed firmly in pklace with no cracking.

Edit: I also smacked with a hammer before it was cured.

those'll look perfect on the top of the tail so that it blends in to your skin. do you think it'll with stand a zipper?

I think if you put the zipper in the fabric first, covered it with tape, and then put your scales on you'd be just fine.
Mind you, these particular scales are little bitty, and that is only 1 layer of silicone.
I also haven't tried adding pigment to it yet; any suggestions?
