I just got my first Finfolk Tail and I love it to bits! Naturally, I want to preserve it as best as I can. I read that baking soda can neutralize the chlorine but does that actually work? And do you guys have any tips or tricks for cleaning your tails after it’s been in a chlorinated pool?

All I have ever done is flood with water, either in the shower or with a hose.

chlorine stays active if it isn't neutralized. Any cleanser with citrus is good for turning it off. baking soda works, but it won't prevent mold. Vinegar also neutralizes but has a smell- you can add some drops of essential oil to it to overcome to smell.

In the long run it's good to neutralize chlorine. Chlorine will eat away at the neoprene overtime. You wouldn't wear a wet suit in a pool and not clean it right?
