Might help if you changed your pod. You are in Pod of Oceania and your location is New York.
Pod of Oceania are Australia, New Zealand, Asia and Tasmania.

Its confusing.

Try changing it to the correct pod and I think you'll get more bites.

You might also see if they have a Facebook group. You might also want to just go swimming by yourself and use your tail to strike up a conversation. I made friends with a girl life guard this way. Great news is once you find your people they are only a phone call away. Keep swimming my friend you'll find your pod! ;)
