More training with monofin. Even with tail, you still need to train with monofin.

What I usually do at the pool is, one hour swim with monofin in the lap lane, then stop for 1 hour food and rest break, then play/swim for another hour or two in the tail.

Your main goal is to get your core strength up, so that its not a constant struggle to swim in that big tail of yours. It will look much more natural to be able to swim longer before coming up for air.

If you have free access to a pool, you can try training once a week, and when you feel confident up it to two or three times a week. As far as I know, no one stops fin training once they start their business/get their tail.

Do not use a Luna in a finfolk tail! The fluke is too big and heavy and the Luna does not have enough propulsion to safely be used.

Have a look at courtney mermaid on YouTube, she swims with the Luna in a custom made tail of hers and it looks beautiful. The Linden momofin is good. I've got that. Dead comfortable

I also have the linden monofin. I haven't taken it for a swim yet as the weather is too cold, but just from trying it on, it is very comfortable.

I use the Linden in my Aqua Fairy tail and it works great. I had a Shooter, but it didn't give as much power. I've swam in a friend's tail with the Mahina and it had so much drag and was very heavy, I wouldn't reccomend it.

We're looking at getting a couple of Lindens in the not-too-distant future - where did you get yours and was the postage a killer?

I got the linden off eBay. The shipping wasn’t that bad although I had to pay over $100 for shipping on my finfolk tail.

Oh the perks of living in a country that's so far away from everything, everything costs so much :)

It certainly curtails my boardgame Kickstarter purchases.

I heard that a few other mermaids use the linden monofin in their finfolk tails with good results. They said it’s not as expensive as the shooter, but still offers good propulsion and stiffness.

Oh fabulous. Are there any videos of any of them swimming in a finfolk using the Linden?

I don't have video footage yet, but I did see a mermaid doing an unboxing video of her finfolk tail, and the monofin she had was the linden which looked like it could fit. I heard that the mahina fits in the loreena fluke with the tips trimmed off, but due to its thickness its not recommended. If the mahina can fit in the loreena fluke, then the linden definitely can.
