View Full Version : Starfish bra tops?

I was watching Peter Pan the other day and one of the mermaids in the movie has a starfish bra. I would love to have something like that for my mermaid top. Does anyone know of a place that would sell them, or have suggestions for making them?

I'm thinking making the starfish out of some sort of clay and gluing them to a nude strapless bra, but I'm not sure what kind of clay.

Clay would dissolve in water, but if you made clay starfish, then used them to make plaster moulds, and then cast some starfish in latex you'd be ok.

I believe Mertailor, Raven, & Mike all make Silicone starfish. However I have never heard of anyone purchasing one from any of them (though I'm going to someday!) I have seen a top that Raven made that had silicone starfish as the focal point and oh my goodness it was stunning.

this website has a picture of a starfish top. i couldnt get a direct link to the picture so you'll have to look in their portfolio under costumes and mermaids at the picture tittled capitol 1 mermaids. unlike other starfish tops, this one covers all the goods XD

Just don't go with real starfish: the dried ones will disolve in water. I'm real excited to see the casted ones!
