Hey everyone, This is a question I see a lot as to who creates and sells Tail bags. there aren't many out there who do. but I wanted to sort of create a list and get the ball rolling with this topic to make it sort of a source for people to come to for research purposes:

I just use a big calico tote to carry my silicone tail around. Big, sturdy with space for both tail and other necessities such as a towel.

I am currently using a tote bag too as I save up for a bag from one of these shops! It's becoming a bit of a pain though and it can be pretty brutal on my back :cry:

I'm going to make one for mine. I didn't expect the suntails to be so large! :) i think I'm going to make mine with backpack straps though after reading that they get heavy and I'm not strong due to serious muscle atrophy :)

Also gives me an excuse to get more fabric ;)

What are features you folks like in your bags? I'm thinking lots of pockets and main pouch for the tail fin and a smaller sidepouch for fabric skins, and washable.

Pockets! def. pockets!! and for those that spend a lot on their tails always want them to be safe and secure! so lots of padding!

Hi there Liara! Does this work well with Silicone tails? Or would this be more for fabrics or strictly monofins!

I don't have a silicone tail yet (I do have a Mythic tail on the way, though!), so I can't tell you for certain. It DOES seem strong enough to carry a silicone tail, however!

I have a Waterways heavy duty bag. I can easily fit 3 competitor-sized monofins in there at the same time. I had a regular bag but the heavy duty one is WAY more sturdy, I can easily see this bag last me years! Too bad my silicone tail won't fit in it, the fluke is too big :p
Right now I use it to take 2 or 3 tails at the same time (fabric and partial silicone) with their monofins and that easily fits.
The only downside is that I would like more pockets instead of just one big one on the front, but I can work with it ;)

If anyone knows of a tail-bag maker that makes bags for huge flukes, I'm looking for one of those!

I think Kairis larger tailbags would fit a large fluke! Most finfolk tails fit her bags and they make huge flukes.
