Hi all I'm new to mermaiding and am looking for mermaid comunities in the Co durham area in the north east of Great Britain. I'll be starting mermaid swimming lessons 27th of April which I'm dead excited for, however currently in the UK we have a very strict monofin and tail ban. I'm in the process of challenging the local council who own the pools, to allow them for people who have done said lessons and are confident swimmers. Any help with this would be much appreciated.
