New thread for my custom tails only as I couldn't get the last thread title to reflect that I had sold the green tail (pictured).

Asking $450 (plus shipping) for a custom tail.

Made to order neoprene and latex mermaid tails! This can be made in any colors,any size and with any fluke shape you want. As a customer you can either just send me a reference picture or work very closely with me to insure you get just the tail you want! Please allow at least a month for your order to be made. Rush orders are possible for an extra fee.

Tails are made to be swam in! They contain a Finis wave monofin already inside for your convenience :)

$10 a fin. I like to price any and all extra fins the same just for the sake of simplicity. As for the latex it's just good ol' ALEX plus! My family works in construction and we've been using the stuff for years and years...despite the scare on here, there aren't actually any dangers once it's cured and if it's been sealed properly and allowed to cure long enough before getting in the water, it won't fog up or chip :B it's good stuff.

it might take me a while to save this up after all we only really just make do, i mean we are not poor but we are far from rich and its just me, my partner mark and our 3 small dogs :)

Yes I can see the link. I've heard about people's tails who are made out of latex having the paint chip off after a while. I also know that you made a post a while back about paint never coming off, was that with the urethrane tails your trying out or something else? Will latex tear easily? How long will a latex tail last (assuming it is taken care of in best condition). Also, I now have 400/650 I need for my tail from you! So stoked, it's all I can talk about. Shipping to England would be $100 right? When we order do you want all costs up front or half and half?

I think Merberry's tails look great, but I already see a lot of the issues with using Alex by following some of the mermaids who have the tails on FB. I had posted somewhere in another thread a girl with the Splash tail, and I could already see it going white it in some spots.
When you use Alex, you get what you pay for, which isn't necessarily a bad thing because I don't think merberry over charges for what they produce. Honestly, an Alex tail can last a year if it's made out of neopRENE and it will still need touchups. By a year, it's usually time to overhaul the thing as most of us who have had Alex tails for extended periods of time can tell you. If it's made with neoPRIN (I don't believe merberry's are) then I suggest people don't waste their money. It'll last a swim and then it'll start stretching and falling apart.

I know. =\ I'm looking to find a tail that'll last at least 4 years of a lot of use (will be cared for properly) and i think I'll just save up for Raven, as I don't really know about latex. But I just love the Merberry tails. >_<

Do your research first before choosing a tailmaker- there are extensive reviews on this site to help you decide. There have been problems with this maker lately. Just be aware :)

Make sure you do research on tail makers before you order a tail. There has been problems with this tailmaker before. There are threads here that you can browse about it. Just a heads up.

Just trying to do a follow up.
My friends bought me a tail from Merberry Tails for my 19th birthday....I received a very bad quality tail on my 20th birthday and after lots of back and forth between one of my friends, Amanda and I, Amanda said she would refund me.
We have tried to contact her on her facebook but it has been down for a while and her Etsy account has been non-existent for a while. I was wondering if anyone could help me out here and know anything?
$500 was quite a lot of money and the quality of the tail was just not ok at all.
