Next up, SO CAL REN FAIRE! Who's interested and when can you go? We've got a couple mers working this one and it'd be great to go out and support them. Discount tickets are available in various places, carpools can be arranged, and the event is long going enough that we could plan something together and have everyone go. HUZZAH!

Next weekend is the last weekend of faire, then I will be in Denver over Memorial day weekend.

I was working in the braiding booth for most of the run of faire and didn't get a chance to see Jaime in her tail there (though she came by for hugs!). Got to see her tail at a swimming meetup in So Cal. ^_^

Well Jaimie's the only mermaid with a tail haha we work in the Kid's area, and it definitely gets their attention when we're telling stories! And of course when she's telling her own mermaidy stories! Unfortunately, we don't have any way to keep her in water. We have to keep everything "period" since it's the original faire. The directors feel like we need to be the role models, pretty much. Wait, do you work there too? Lol

Oh I see. No :( I had a teacher in high school who works there and our scottish-irish culture club took trips there every year :)

im not sure :/ he was sort of just wandering around whenever we saw him XD he wore a kilt but its not awkward because he wears a kilt to school every thursday. :D he was one of my favorite teachers <3

Braids for Maids was closer to the glass blowing side of faire (Twisted Sisters was towards the back). We were right across from the 50th Anniversary Museum last year.

I graduated from LMU in 2010. :D Have fun there MerHopefully!

syd, I thought I took you over to braids for maids.. hmm, maybe I took Gigi..? It was on the straight away (left side) before you rounded the corner to where the glass blowing would be. somewhat close to the Queen's court and the fairy shoppe. :) next season will be a blast now that we've all gotten to know each other a lot better. I can't wait!!
