Making arm fins!

So today I started on making armfins!

These are the steps I’ll try to follow:
1 making the fins
2 sewing the cuffs
3 painting the cuffs
4 put silicone over the cuffs
5 put the fins and cuffs together
6 hope it doesn’t randomly fall apart



The first thing I did was try my hand at sculpting. But well... I’m not that good at it haha.
Here’s how the sculpt looks:

Then I did a test with silicone to see how the fin would look like..

I think that fin currently is to messy so I’ll try to pour it more carefully.

Also I think I need to make 4 fins and glue them together so that I have 2 not sure how I’m going to that though :0

Anyways, I’m going to wait till my clay is dry so I can make more fins. We’ll see how they turn out and then I’ll post again :D

So this time I poured the actual fins!

And I made the cuffs!

My favorite kind of blue! They’re currently drying! Tomorrow I’ll post the outcome :)

They’re done!

I’m happy they match my tail. They’re also very cute, not sure when I can use them...
