SOUTHWEST FLORIDA MERS WILLING TO BIRTHDAY PARTIES?

I just wanted to find out if there were any mers in the Southwest Florida area, between Sarasota and Naples, that would be willing to do kids birthday parties? I get asked to do this from time-to-time but neither I nor Alasea do birthday parties so I would like to have someone to refer these people to. I've been thinking about starting up with entertainment and birthday parties being part of that.
But I'm a bit shy to. I have lots of heavy black tribal tattoos and the reactions to those are black and white.
People either LOVE them or they look at me like I'm going to rape their child and throw them into a den of vipers.. or something..

But I'm still optimistic. All the reactions I've had from children have been positive, regardless of their fanatic parents.

I live in fort myers essentially, which makes access of sarasota and naples equally possible with a brief hop on 75.

I'll definitely keep you posted on my progress in making myself into a professional mer.

I used to teach middle school in kenya from time to time, I've worked as a camp counselor, been a life guard, and lead small groups of teens and younger youth on short term trips to foreign countries for work projects and aid.
I'm mostly just feeling out what mermaiding professionally is all about, what the norms of entertainment are for that profession, expectations etc.
I've wanted to go into business with another mer but I cant find any one in my area.
It would be easier to have two available 'looks' a clean cut little mermaid type and a more alternative type.
That way if parents ARE persnippity they have another mer to choose from.

If any one IS in the area between south sarasota and naples, and is interested in teaming up, let me know. I have some amazing contact between here and the keys and Id LOVE to make a keywest show a regular thing (once a month or so).
