Some Nice Sketches

I just placed in my album some sketches by Ashleigh Webb, one of the original illustrators for The Accidental Mermaid. ​Enjoy!

The sketches look great. Do any of them appear in or on the book, or are they just for brainstorming for when you write?

Both. I was able to put ten of them in my first book. They're all based on character descriptions from my stories. I like to give illustrators passages from the work first, then let them draw who or what fancies them. Most of the newer sketches are for the sequel that I'm working on right now, The Girl with the Sea-Green Eyes, I'm on chapter seven.
