So, I have been wondering this for a while.
How does everyone make Peanut butter (or sun-butter, whatever floats your boat) and jelly sandwich?
I spread the peanut butter on one slice of bread, Then wipe the knife on the other, then carefully spread the jelly on top, then wipe the knife on the other slice of bread, then sandwich the two pieces together. I never thought that i would go into that much detail on making PB and j, LOL. Anyway, please let me know! i am very curious.:confused::confused:

I never like jelly on my peanut butter sandwiches. I usually use butter instead

I once tried stripey peanut butter. The jelly was blackcurrant and was the purple stripes in the peanut butter.

I put a little bit on a whole slice of bread. Like a tiny dab. The first bite was tasty but after that, it was too sweet.

Don't know how people can eat it without feeling like their teeth are gonna fall out. Its just too much sugar.

I prefer honey instead of jelly with my peanut butter ;) Taste less sweet that way and is less sticky in my mouth.

Everyone is talking about my death! (lol allergic to PB)

But! I did try Sunbutter...idk how similar it is, but I like it with apple jelly?

Take it easy with the sweets. It will catch up to you as you age.

If I eat toast in the morning I'll have 1 slice with peanut butter on and the other slice with jam as we call it on. I dont put them together lol

spread PB on one side, then put a little edge of PB on the other side, fill edged bread with jam. smoosh sides together. PB seals jam inside so you don't get jam splosion

Funny enough, it was the first time I had jelly in years. I tried it with sunbutter the first time last year, I think? Believe me, I know. It's more of a treat than anything after a swim and infrequent.

I've never heard of Sun butter. Is it an American thing?

I’m curious of this sunbutter too. I haven’t heard of it and I’ve been through half of America.

it's made with sunflower seeds instead of peanuts.

Sunbutter is made with sunflower seeds, it tastes like a combination of tahini (ground sesame seeds) and almond butter. Definitely not bad flavor wise and a good alternative to PB if you have allergies.
You can get it at Walmart, really most major chains tend to have it near the PB with the Cashew and Almond butters
