As a new mer, I’m trying to make friends and go swimming with others if possible to have a good time and build new relationships on this wonderful new journey. Plus to get practice on swimming with a tail ^_^

Hey Mermanxxorion, There are plenty of us in the So-Cal areas but we are mighty spread out. You're always welcome to drive up to Ventura and swim with our little pod if you would like.

Our go-to beach is Harbor cove beach at Ventura harbor. It is behind a breakwater, so the waves are tiny.

BTW everyone, there is a similar beach in Marina Del Ray, if we want to give others a break on the driving pain.

I'll be at Harbor cove beach Saturday August 31 somewhere between 11 AM and 1 PM if anyone cases to come.

Also, I am having a meet and swim at my house, and am inviting anyone who would like to come.

Date: Saturday, September 14, 2019.
Time: 12 noon to 3 PM or so.


Bring your tail as there will be swimming. My pool is not too large, but you can do a few strokes over its length, and its deep enough for back flips. It has a solar cover, so it should be warm.
