SoOoOoO... I was wondering if any one else has any geek hobbies like me..

I play Star Wars TOR and have a WOW account (or four) though I haven't been on WOW in a while..since the most recent expansion pack..

I also play some regular PC games like Deus Ex and Diablo.. (O M EFFING GEE Diablo III...so close)
And console games.. like Zelda.. and mario.. and Echo.. and things of that nature..

Does any one else game? I'd love a few friend in game if any one plays SWTOR or WOW.. or eventually Dee-bablo-III.

Skyrim.... Then there is White Wolf (vampires & a home-brew pirates) and LARPing (I go to two larps) and Youmacon and World Steam Expo (I'm staff for both) and mermaiding :P

Never been much into WOW or SWTOR though two of my closest friends run one of the largest guilds on some RP sever for both. My boo is super excited about diablo 3 (I've never played it), I'm more of a 'if it's not in real life then leave me alone and be epic in my own way' sort of gamer. Which is why I <3 skyrim.

I just like feeling epic and be like watcham I now shoot you in the knee! Cause for LARPs and Tabletops I tend to play the crazies who need no logic and don't really do anything other then make the GM's hate themselves.

It would be epic if you could do that, the closest you can get is to stream it on the interwebs... I want to do that eventually but I need a few things before I can.

I've played WoW for 4 years now xD I love it so much! I'm not amazing at, but I'm a decent PvPer. I don't have an xbox so no Skyrim ;-; And I love the Sims. They're like my childhood... My sister got me into Minecraft, though I don't play it a whole lot. I get a little bored with it after an hour. I don't see how people play it four hours on end xD But then again people don't understand how I play WoW for hours on end...

I'm on smolderthorn, toon name "Chernabog" , its been a while since I played, I'd have to reactivate my wow account to get back on.. which I should do.. I just never had any one to play with when I broke up with my last boyfriend a few years ago. I played for a whle on my own, tried to get my hubby into it (hahahhahahahahahhahahahahahahha yeah it didnt take) and then gave up for lack of guildies or friends to play with.

Do you play often? I'd consider moving my main toon to a diff server if I can find a solid group to play with that wont judge my gameskillz. (I'm fair.. decent.. not epic pro.. but I have some nice armor etc)

I've been playing paper and pencil RPG's since there's been such a thing. I still have the original box set of D&D. We used to take several jugs of tea and a bag of PB&J sandwiches and lock ourselves in a friend's apartment on friday after class and not come out til sunday evening. Thirty-six to forty-eight solid hours of dungeon crawling.

I dabble in video games, mostly KOTOR and Skyrim, but I'm not very good at them.

Let me see... I have a library of pencil and paper RPGs, and a few books on LARPing as well (mostly mind's eye theater), some wargaming supplies (mostly warhammer (wood elves) and Mage Knight), a PS2 and PS3 and Super Nintendo and Sega Genesis and Sega Game Gear and Gameboy Advanced. I assemble/construct/make my own Halloween costumes. I sing karaoke at least once a week. I'm constructing a mernetwork rpg setting. I just watched the first two episodes of The Legend of Korra, and enjoyed them, and I watch Lost Girl, Grimm and Alphas. I go nowhere without my backpack, usually including a notebook, maybe two books and a kindle, a pencilcase, and other odds and ends.

I also am a decent amateur sculptor and am looking into other forms of art, and I cook some very, very, very good desserts. I still have a lot of toys, including my folkmanii puppets and a bunch of my old power ranger zords, and I have a foosball table.

I like Silent Hill a lot. Lots of the character designs are really awesome and often the story is actually deep. Metal Gear is
another aweesome videogame series. Red Dead too. Heavy Rain..

I'm also on WoW, and DC Universe Online, and City of Heroes... I'm making Calves Eyes at AION, Perfect World (even if they are heteronormative) and Everquest II because I can't play them on my mac :(

Oh yeah. I also really love Fate. The pc game. The dungeon navigating, the simple click to attack method, and the fact that you have a little cat or dog to run errands for you. It really takes rpg games and makes it simple for people like me. I was never good at games like League of Legends and such.

mmmm lets see... i have a collection of 79 manga, and about 20 anime. i'm going to the premier of the avengers.....in a black panther costume. im in love with thor and joe mad's art, i never miss an anime or comic convention if i can help it and i rage quit on mortal kombat. games i play: mortal kombat, folklore, deadspace (i havent played it since the first time because i got too scared XD). I also have over 400 pokemon cards and 100 yu-gi-oh cards. and my dad handed down his collection of starwars figurines to me and i'm in charge of the first ever print of the ninja turtles comic.(well more of my mom and dad have it now in their safe, but i still make sure they dont mess with it) i'm just all geek. XD

While I do have some orignals (mostly in the basement), I am currently collecting the Masters of the Universe Classics (this lines covers everything Filmation, the 200X show, New Adventures, She-Ra, and comics). Hopefully down the line we will get a Mermista and I will let you guys know! :)

I play Skyrim, Disgaea, Borderlands, Dynasty Warriors and any lego game on the PS3 to destruction along with Valkyria Chronicles and FFVII and FFIX when I need a retro trip.

I play AD&D 3rd Ed as GM and player, Dark Heresy as GM, World of Darkness as GM and own every Fighting Fantasy gamebook out there.

I collect and paint miniatures, having a homebrew Space Marine chapter (with almost two complete battle companies and counting) and an Imperial Guard regiment. I also collect 1/35 scale military model kits which I paint to supplement the Imperial Guard army.

I also read mad amounts of historical tomes and literature as well as diverting into Tintin, Asterix and various manga when I have the time.

I write a bit as well.

I haven't updated the edition of the rules that I use since the late 90s, because I'm cheap...but for the area of the WoD that I prefer on a personal level, that would have to be Vampire, just for the fact that it's got some of the best roleplaying potential and isn't crazy in terms of the way in which reality gets bent in Mage and Werewolf.

I have fond memories of helming a game set in my hometown and playing as H P Lovecraft's grandson in a game that mixed all the games up (he was a mage) alongside a Serbian werewolf gangster and a hunter who was like Jack Bauer crossed with Neo...it all got a bit odd when we ended up jumping worlds to the Exhalted setting though...

I am also super impressed with the sheer amount of geek radiating from this thread. It makes me happy and I make the happy feet upon this thread.

I grew up a nerdy kid - our family spent time together by watching Star Trek: The Next Generation. I was a music geek all through highschool (French Horn and Vocal Jazz Choir), and in grade 12 started playing a MUD online...and ended up meeting my husband on it. He's a software engineer in the video game industry, so my geeky gamer side came out.

I've played WoW and I occasionally play SWTOR; I also pay tabletop RPGs. We mostly have stuck to a DnD system but are trying out a new system called Pathfinder. We also take part in SCA events and I am learning to sew costumes for it and I will also be making a tail for Alexi. I'm going in a Canada Day Parade this year with some pirate friends as well! Should be super fun.

I really love Zelda in all it's forms, most especially OOT, (I have nearly beaten Twilight Princess) and I LARP, Kind of.
Belegarth is less about Role Playing and more about fighting with foam. I love my twin foam blades. If I were not prego, I would be attacking people with them right now. I'm a Banshee.
