Hi !

I'm currently working on a "mermaid" swim cap (as it's mandatory in almost every public pools in France). I wanted to start with latex for my prototype as it's very cheap. But then a question poped : I heard about the "latex chlorination", will i have to do something with the latex before using it in the pool or not ? Will it do a weird reaction in the pool with the chlorine ?

It may temporary build bright spots when it has contact with water which will go away again when dry (not related to chlorine). The chlorine changes the surface so it behaves a bit differently.

Chlorination is a chemical treatment based on Chlorine and Acid

i think it is nothing. It will not gave you a bad reaction.
