notifications can sometimes act up, but why wouldn't you be able to read a message in your inbox when you can log on and post?
I never heard of a message on here getting lost.

btw, insisting on communication exclusively off-site is a red flag you get warned of frequently as a model/contractor.

I didnt mean to raise any red flags. I've made a fair few tails and can certainly get references if needed! I just struggle with this site, it doesn't work properly on my phone and i find it very difficult to have long conversations about designing tails on here. I'm happy with email, Facebook, twitter whatever but this site not so much. Unfortunately it's also a very good site for networking, so kinda necessary.
I see where your coming from, I've worked as a model, but portfolio sites usually check out all theyre members before allowing them on to make sure they're genuine, hence communicating off site being a red flag. This site probably doesn't guarantee the authenticity of all tailmakers, so you could probably be done over even on this site so wouldn't make much of a difference.
Best bet is to ask for references from past customers, then you can know for sure.

Its all good on my end too. We have been e-mailing back and forth getting the details of my tail worked out. The order has been made, and I hear work has begun. Soon I should have a new tail to so everyone.

That pretty much doesn't apply when the person asking for off-network email has a large and well known social media presence.
