Hey guys, I'm going to be selling my mertailor tail. It's a great tail, It's in good shape despite the age (I've done some internal patching on weak spots), it swims really well, and its very comfortable/ easy to get into. Here are measurements/ misc tail info for anyone curious (it can stretch quite a bit, I've had my cousin wear it comfortably and shes a bit larger than I am). - Waist to Knees - Waist to hip - Measure from your waist down to the middle of your knees: 21 1/2"
- Around Hips - Measure all the way around the widest part of your hips: 33"
- Around Butt - Measure all the way around the widest part of your butt: 37"
- Around Mid Thigh - With your legs together, measure all the way around the widest part of your mid thighs : 35"
- Around Knees - With your legs together, measure all the way around your knees: 22 1/2"
- Around Calves - With your legs together, measure all the way around the widest part of your calves: 23"
- Around Ankles - With your legs together, measure all the way around your ankles: 14"

Save up for a Fin Fun then. Or just get a monofin and make your own tail. Noone will ever give away a silicone tail for free.

Tails are a luxury and not a need. If you can't afford one you don't need one. Stop asking for donations and learn to save your money.

You need to stop asking for a free tail. It takes a lot of time, money, research, trial and error to have a tail. If you can’t afford to buy one you can make one.

Stop asking for a freebie please and give the original poster some respect. She wont have the money if she just donates it. When people asked why you were selling your tail, you never answer them. People might had helped you at the time to avoid you selling the tail but you ignored them by never answering them. Problematic post are against the rules outside the drama thread and since your post isn't about buying the tail, they are off topic. I'm not trying to sound bad but I don't want to see you get a temp ban if one can be avoided.

I hadn't seen that picture before! No, mine is very similar but it looks like this one has more cream and less black, no stripes, and no blue. :>

I'm definitely thinking of getting rid of the blue stripe on the belly side but keeping the one on the back as well as adding some interesting details (I dabble in silicone but I dont have the space, patience, or time to actually make a full tail hahaha). I'm hoping a mini makeover will make her a bit more appealing! XD

I actually love the blue stripe!! In fact I love the whole tail.
I’ve been stalking this listing tryna convince myself that I should buy it regardless if the fact that its not time for me to drop cash on a silicone tail.

I live in central Texas just north of Austin. I would be willing to pick it up if it would just be a day trip.

I match all the measurements except one...I have ridiculously tiny feet...we’re talking size 5 1/2. I don’t have much(any) experience with silicone tails so I don’t know how vital the shoe size measurements are. Like...would I be slipping all over the place cuz my feet are too small?

Tail is size 8 shoe and you are size 5 1/2 dang you could probably buy neoprene socks to wear to make your feet fit! In fact, that might be better in terms of comfort to have foot pockets a bit larger.

If you do get the tail, I'm sure MermaidMechanic can give you tips on how to care for the tail.

Honestly, something I learned is that bigger foot pockets are more comfortable. You wont slip around and you'll have plenty of room for neoprene socks which will help prevent blisters! Ive been able to have friends with bigger feet than mine wear the tail too since there is some stretch, but it's not the most comfortable for them. I think they might even be pinned, I can link them for you if you want. :>
